Plano East Senior High School Mock Pre-Prom Car Crash Helps Curb Alcohol-Related Accidents

The morning of Tuesday, April 10, 2007, the City of Plano Youth Advisory Commission, Plano Police and Fire Departments, PESH Principal Karen McDonald and select PESH faculty will sponsor a mock alcohol-related car crash event.

Los Rios Boulevard will be closed at Merriman Drive starting at approximately 9:05am until approximately 11:15am the morning of the event.

This event, being held in conjunction with their Prom, is part of the school’s weeklong awareness campaign for students.  The objective is to educate students on the dangers of drinking and driving, as well as the dangers associated with drug abuse and street racing.

Events such as this, held across the country, have proven to be a deterrent in alcohol-related accidents and fatalities involving teens.

Contact our Vermont Accident Lawyers if you have ever experienced a personal injury and think others are at fault for the accident.
